ABOUT STAY FIERCE

Stay Fierce was created to allow me to express my creativity through art and to bring my paintings to a digital format.  I use acrylic paint to show my expression and I use photoshop to bring my artwork into the digital world.  I love playing with colour and creating beautiful artwork with minimal backgrounds.  

WHEN IT ALL STARTED

I have always been drawn towards creating things before I can even remember.  An old memory is having my sketch book when I was around six years old and drawing landscapes in summer fields.  Drawing has always been an escape for me and to allow me to get lost in my own mind.  I have a strong eye for detail whether that is in paint, pencil or sculpture.  I decided to start painting after years of studying Fashion Design, to  give myself a challenge to brighten up my living room walls.  I decided to create Stay Fierce from people wanting copies.

MY TECHNIQUE

I use acrylic paint and have a number of trusty paintbrushes to allow me to create the art I do.  For me it's all about the expression in the paint and how that looks on paper.  If I have a vision or idea in mind that is usually my starting point and I create my own artwork from that.  It all comes down to how the art itself looks but for me sometimes less is more.
